[MP3] Punks Jump Up reMix Two Door Cinema Club

Two Door Cinema Club

There’s a lot of reMixes on the new single from IndiePoppers Two Door Cinema Club’s new single, Sun. Some big names too, Fred Falke, Alex Metrix, Gildas, Logo and Gigamesh have all contributed their versions of the track, but one of the standout’s we’ve heard so far comes from London’s Punks Jump Up, and it’s a free download too!

Punks Jump up deliver a classic Electro mix, the kind that makes you remember why Kitsuné have released so much of their output. It’s a driving tune, heavy on the bass with intricate percussion that works multiple infectious riffs into the track, weaving in and out of Alex Trimble’s vocal. But ultimately it’s a fun track. Bouncy and very hard to resist, Punks Jump Up deliver another storming dancefloor monster right here. We’re definitely looking forward to what they have in store for 2013.

[Audio] Pat Lok reMixes Goldroom

Goldroom

We love it when our favourite producers work together. Just look at this pairing. The inventor of Dreamwave, deliverer of electronic bliss Goldroom with is (not Saint Lou Lou anymore) SLL featuring Sweetness Alive, as reMixed by Canadian’s top party starter Pat Lok. Before you listen, just think about that for a second. Yes, it is as good as it promises.

Pat’s Dip And Drop reMix continues down this Disco don’s journey into the realms of deep 90s House. With a jackin’ sound Lok contrasts Goldroom’s laid back sunset vibes with a pumping warehouse sound. It;s no wonder that The Magician chose to include this tune in his last Magic Tape, it’s a total floorfiller, with just enough of a retro feel to keep people smiling, but a large contemporary sound. most of all this track;s a lot of fun, can’t wait to hear it out, and we will no doubt.

[Audio] Plastic Plates reMixed by Bufi

Plastic Plates

This reMix of Plastic Plates’, Simon Lord featuring, Things I Didn’t Know I Loved is a nice little extra. Not featuring on the single, it comes as part of Kitsuné Music’s Kitsuné Club Night Mix #3 compilation, mixed by main man Gildas. It;s by Mexican producer Bufi and is perfect Friday night material,

Bufi Houses things up a little, mixing a nice digital Disco bassline with a big piano House riff to fun, summery effect. This mix is all about dancing and good times, injecting the track with a lively carnival vibe and enough dancefloor power to keep it moving. A nice Balearic breakdown adds a little touch of sunrise awe right in the middle of a solid groove.

[MP3] Monarchy & Dita Von Teese reMixed by MiGHty mOUse

Monarchy & Dita Von Tease

It;s been a while since we heard from one of the best ElectroPop act to emerge in the last few years. About a year in fact, but Monarchy have been holed up in the studio and are ready to start unleashing new material. The first new single from the duo is the recently announced collaboration with goth muse Dita Von Teese titled Disintegration, and the guys have just dropped a reMix of the track by none other than London Disco wizard  MiGHty mOUse.

If you were looking for some low-down synthetic Funk topped with a dramatic vocal, you’ve come to the right place. MiGHty mOUse get back to his squelchy Disco roots with an energetic, infectious bassline, twisting little riffs and some vintage strings, bringing a whole new level of 70s flair to the vocals. Seriously, this reMix is so addictive we defy anyone not to start nodding their head at least, the prefect combination of Disco, Funk and Monarchy’s ElectroPop. The track is a guaranteed dancefloor rocker and just us just a little insight into what’s to come from Monarchy.
