Out today, Monsieur Adi’s new single is smoking hot!

After a few setbacks, the ‘Fire Fire Fire’ EP is finally here and just proves once again, that Adi is seriously one of the most talented producers working in electronic music right now. Both behind the keys and behind a mixing desk Adi excels. Heavy Disco drums and powerful rolling synth bass drive the track through territory littered with growling synth riffs and soaring guitar solos.Then just when the excitement reaches it’s peak Adi drops a layer of his trademark beautiful strings to intertwine with the guitar. It not very often that a producer so completely nails it that you’re tempted to use the word perfect.

The Golden Filter: Syndromes

We knew The Golden Filter were up to something!

It seems the have been colluding with Scandinavian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli on a short movie called ‘Syndromes’. All involved would probably devastated to hear me call it a superhero flick, but to me that’s not an insult. It appears to be a move about a girl with an ‘ability’ and the people who exploit that ability. Check the trailer.

PNAU reMixed by digitalfoxglove

PNAU and Ladyhawke’s ‘Embrace’ was a true anthem for 2008, there were hands in the air at every Electro club you visited, and just as it might have started to sound dated along comes German superproducer digitalfoxglove to bring it kicking and screaming in to 2011.

DFG just seems to have this amazing way with percussion and lead lines that seems to make his tracks soar. Listening to his Nu-Disco magic coupled with Pip’s vocals makes me think how much I’d love to hear him working with vocals more. digitalfoxglove has taken a euphoric ElectroPop anthem and turned it into a sexy dancefloor groover.
