Here’s the video for one of the best singles of the year. Moonlight Matters and Hercules And Love Affair’s Gustaph’s Come For Me.
Directed by Kris Lathouwers, it’s just pure shining, neon, Disco goodness. Perfect for the track. Is Seba’s origami bear head just a mask and not a full head?
Moonlight Matters’ Come For Me EP is out now via Kitsuné Music.
Justice’s current single, New Lands, has got itself vidofied, if anything, the budget just shows how big these guys are now.
Canada (not the whole country) directs the clip, or should I say movie? It’s a spectacle I won’t describe, I’ll just let you watch, suffice to sat if this was turning into a feature length film I would definitely be watching it.
The spookiest track (for personal reasons) on Nite Jewel’s One Second Of Love album, and current single Clive, is here in video form.
This sombre, simple clip is directed by José Wolff. Sometimes simplicity is best.

Empty Love Song is the forthcoming new single from Zebra And Snake,a band who have been pretty schizophrenic over their formative years, but have seemed to settle doing into an electronic Post-Punk dance groove, and that suits us just fine. It’s probably appeal to fans of darker ‘80’s stuff and Chillwave too,
Joona Mantere directs the clips, which is as enigmatic as the track itself, very muddy, Z&S are probably better off in that bubble, nice and clean. Check below the clip for a free download of the track.
We’ve already written about Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Spring’s new single Hidden, having read that, now have a gander at some images that are moving at the same time as the song.
The video is directed by Celia Rowlson-Hall, not really sure what’s going on, but it looks nice, and in the end, isn’t that all that counts?
Here is the official video for French Poppy Electro meister Yuksek’s recently announced new single The Edge.
By Vanessa Giangrande, and co-produced by Yuksek, Savoir Faire, All You Need Is Songs, and Vice & Intel’s The Creators Project, the clip shows the man on tour across the world.
Yuksek’s The Edge is released 9th July with reMixes from Aeroplane, Kim Moyes of The Presets A.K.A. K.I.M., BeNi, and Panteros 666.
Believe it or not, Casio have made some classic synths in their time. Both the CZ ranges (I had a 101 myself) and the VL-Tones (particularly the VL-1) were pretty uncool when released but over the years have achieved cult status. Samplers to, like most people my introduction to sampling was the circuit benders favourite the SK-1 and there was a time when the FZ-1 was in a race with the Akais to become industry standard.
Casio are returning to the world of synth with the forthcoming release of their new XW range, lead by the XW-P1. The synth was launched last week in London along with Casio’s search for the UK’s best synthesist. Submit your best work to the Casio UK Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning an XW-P1 and a slot performing as part of the G-Shock Sessions at the Relentless Boardmasters Festival 2012 in Newquay, Cornwall. Also, you can strut around telling your friends you are the UKs best synth player and have a peice of paper to prove it!
Check the competition video featuring out good friends Queen Of Hearts and Bright Light Bright Light.
