[Download] BeatLoaf’s ‘Saint’

BeatLaof

Fancy seven minutes of intricate and ecclectic Dance music? Well look no further, here’s a new one from Detroit producer BeatLoaf. We last saw BeatLoaf reMixing our very own beaumont’s Vampire, and he;s keeping up the good work with this genre spanning electronic epic.

Saint eases you in gently with warm tones and gradually evolving melodies. When the track kicks-in you’re treated to a symphony of meticulously crated rhythms, an appealing House bassline and undulating R&B vocals that work together to deliver an involving synthetic dream. Half dark and moody, half playful and carnival-like, Saint is both an interesting listening experience and a shuffling dancefloor mover. Good stuff.

Moon Boots

Not a month has passed since Disco don Moon Boots’ last track, the storming C.Y.S., the spaceman serves up another blissful slice of poolside gold. Featuring Kyiki on vocals, the tune and it’s predecessor surely must point to a new release coming from Moon Boots. This is Don’t Ask Why.

Warm, easy, House in that particular style Moon Boots is becoming best known for, Don’t Ask Why curls out of the speakers like smoke. a drifting groove over a laid back beat soon evolves into an utterly enthralling chorus. Once that’s rich, rising and surprisingly catchy. this is poolside Pop at it’s finest, with bass to spare.

[Audio] Miles Prower’s ‘Virtually Reality’

Miles Prower

Here’s the latest tune from Bristol SynthWavers Miles Prower. Once again enlisting the help of Coralie Kate for vocal duties they present Virtually Reality. The title track of their forthcoming new EP, due out in summer, the track bodes well for a release packed with nostalgic flair.

This one’s got a classic sound, with just a hint of that Euphoric Trance vibe that Mile Prower tend to inject their tracks with. Leading in with some slick Italo bass sounds and the kind of dreamy keys that the French arm of the SynthWave massive are so well known for, the track soon introduces Coralie’s sweet vocals and waves of lush synths. As the tune progresses the synths build leaving the 80s for a full-on 90s hands-in-the-air moment.

[Audio] Lxury reMixes Hot Natured’s ‘Benediction’

Hot Natured

Lxury, the man behind J.A.W.S. and a storming reMix of Chvrches Lies has served up this reMix of London/LA House collective Hot Natured’s Benediction from 2012. Getting the stamp of approval from the Hot Natured crew, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C, and Ali Love; the track sees an official release next month behind some serious radio play.

This one has an awesome flow to it. A deep, deep, bass pops in and out of the track amidst sparse snatches of Ali Love’s original vocal and the kind of melody you just can’t get out of your head. A track perfect for UK festival play, this is both a sunshine jam and a warn club tune. Either way, we can’t stop listening.

[Audio] Happiness Cage’s ‘UHF Blaze’

Happiness Cage

Happiness Cage is the new side-project from Irish SynthWaver Adeyhawke, who you may remember for hitting the highest point in out Top 20 tracks of 2014 for an instrumental, within the top ten. As this Happiness Cage alter-ego he’s about to release a new EP in the next couple of month, but is already previewing tracks on SoundCloud. Check out UHF Blaze below.

UHF Blaze is a beautiful cacophony, a chaotic collision of  Italo, 80s Dance, Electro-House, ChipTune, even Complextro (remember that?) that all comes together to form a compelling whole. Racing beats, spiky synth basslines, Industrial purcussion, and chirpy melodies all keep the energy relentlessly high; but the track never feels like it’s getting away from you. Seeped in nostalgia enough to feel comfortable amidst the juggernaut groove.

Midnight Echoes Fight the Vice YouTube

Here’s something a little different from French Indie-SynthWavers Midnight Echoes for their track Fight The Vice; a euphoric slice of continental SynthPop

Whereas the SynthWave tradition of cutting and editing videos from 80s Movies and TV shows is starting to get unoriginal and played out, Midnight Echoes go one further and film their own version of a slick Miami Vice-esque action flick.

Fear Of Tigers

More tracks incoming from Mr. Fear Of Tigers. here’s his latest, The Legend Of Ian Usher, and as you can expect; it provides some massive big room sounds. Complex and melodic, we hope this isn’t the last we’ve heard from one of the UK’s unsung musical heroes.

Remember when Electro-House tunes were big euphoric tunes layered thick with 80s nostalgia. Well, The Legend Of Ian Usher brings those huge sounds back. Corse Chip Tune sounds shudder and flow alongside lush retro synths and an utterly compelling Disco bassline. Chopped up smooth vocal samples give way to jazzy sax hooks. Wait until you heard the breakdown! Infectious stuff!

[Audio] Pat Lok’s ‘Move Slow’

pat-lok

Hot on the heels if his collaboration with Bear Mountain, Same Hearts, Canadian producer Pat Lok is already on to the next thing with this brand new tune. Move Slow is already getting spun by the likes of Moon Boots, Anna Lunoe, Don Rimini, The Phantom’s Revenge, Cassian and Justin Faust just to name a few. Check out why.

Featuring vocals from fellow Canadian alo, Move Slow is an ecclectic House track with a slight Disco groove to ease you into it. alo’s Jazzy vocals lend the track a raw, live feel to it, almost as if Lok was dipping in and out of the sweeping synths and percussive keys in real time. It’s a tune that really draws you in to it, it’s not really like anything else around right now, and that’s testament to Pat’s skills. Intelligent House music, a real treat.
