:kinema:’s new EP

Ahh, that’s better.

Brighton’s peddlers of the smoothest of smooth Electro DiscoPop :kinema: have a new EP forthcoming. The ‘’My Beautiful Machines’ EP drops in a weeks time is an exercise in pure dancefloor grooves and slick romance to produce a sound that we seem to be sorely lacking in producing in the UK. Luckily :kinema: take up the slack for the rest of our isle. ‘I Love Your Beam’ is a perfect example of their sense of humour too and their Disco-for-lovers vibe.

Seriously, next time your with a girl (or guy), stick on :kinema:…and then thank them by picking up ‘My Beautiful Machines’.

:kinema: – I Love Your Beam

The EP is out 14th February on Hot Pockets and also features reMixes from Drop Out Orchestra & Simon Peter

Marsheaux reMixes HURTS and Mirrors

Greek SynthPop queens Marsheaux grace these pages once more to hit you up with a couple of awesome new reMixes.

First up they bring their analog Pop to HURTS’ ‘Better Than Love’, and it’s actually the best reMix of the track we’ve heard. Bright and ElectroPoppy it’s dancey without turning the song into a cheesy dance track and SynthPoppy without stepping on the original’s toes. Mirrors ‘Into The Heart’ also gets the girls attention. the Brighton SynthPop act’s forthcoming single gets an retro, analog, workout with more than a little OMD about it.

HURTS – Better Than Love (Marsheaux reMix)

Mirrors – Into The Heart (Marshaeux’s ‘Greek Girls Are Not Easy’ Extended Mix)

Mirror’s into the dark is our February 28th. Marsheaux’s latest album, ‘‘Lumineux Noir’ is out now.

New Champagne Riot

Champagne Riot have just released a new four track EP titled, ‘Moonstruck EP’, on Matinée Recordings.

The Danish duo continue along their journey of slick ElectroPop with a quirky Scandinavian edge. The title track is a prime example of the sophisticated electronic music that these guys produce. Owing equally to the 80s and contemporary Indie-Electro the track is rounded and retro without sounding like a homage to anything. A cavernous sounding chorus is complimented by introverted Indie verses.

Defiantly worth a listen.

Classic Brothers reMixed by Rimer London

We’re quite the fans of Rimer London (Le Le’s Rimeroni Vumani) here at electronic rumors towers.

His latest work is a reMix of dance duo Classic Brothers’ ‘Munchies’ which is amazing in that way Vumani is able to produce Disco tunes that sound like the inner working of an overload computer form the future. Analog and electronic, Rimmer London’s music is Nu-Disco from an alternate dimension where traditional instruments were never invented. This is pure, and awesome, computer Disco!

Diamond Cut take Cullen to new heights

OK, this is something pretty special. Well, it’s a Diamond Cut reMix so it’s bound to be!

It’s a reMix of Cullen’s new single, ‘Crazy Enough’. We’ve featured Cullen before, he’s a kinda’ BedroomPop act from Down Under who has dropped some nice tunes in the past. Fellow Aussies Diamond Cut work their magic on his new single  and what emerges is a huge, sweeping, 80’s sounding, DiscoPop track. Subtle guitar licks echo hauntingly in the background while Cullen’s impassioned vocals and DC’s soaring synth lines power the track on and on.

Great stuff!

Cullen – Crazy Enough (Diamond Cut reMix)

Cullen’s ‘Crazy Enough’ single is out soon.

From today you can pick yourself up the new EP by Russia ElectroPop kings Tesla Boy on Mullet Records.

Taken from that album, ‘Rebecca’ is a fantastic choice of a single and perfectly showcases Tesla Boy’s emotional take on Nu-Disco.

Richard X reMixes Patrick Wolf’s new single

March sees the release of Patrick Wolf’s new single, ‘The City’ on new label Hideout Recordings.

The single will come in limited edition 7”, 12” and download with a selection of reMixes including this one by Richard X. And what a reMix. This track really is something special, the original track is very cool but veteran electro producer Mr. X bring both his talent with analog synths and his talent with a pop tune to make a massive, epic, synth-fest that has a air of early Erasure about it.

‘The City’ is out 14th March with Patrick’s new album following.
