SaiR drops new tune

SaiR

Our boy SaiR has unleashed another massive slice of electronic Disco on the world, prepare for summery good times regardless of the weather.

‘Sunfield’ is the perfect end-to-the-summer track (although it suddenly got really hot again here in the UK so this tune is going down right nice!) with big grooving analog basses and intricate synth leads dominating the proceedings. SaiR gets his Jazz-Funk musicality going here and adds a touch of freestyle to this laid back Nu-Disco monster.

Alan Braxe reMixes Ford & Lopatin

Ford & Lopatin

There’s something for every mood with Alan Braxe’s reMix of Ford & Lopatin’s ‘To Much MIDI (Please Forgive Me)’. Literally. He reMixed it twice, one stormer and one for chilling.

Braxe’s main mix is a full on French Touch juggernaut with a really nice euphoric and otherworldly undercurrent that kinda’ zones you out and takes you away when listening to it. The bonus reMix is a stark contract though, and downtempo synth peice, a dreamlike, atmospheric, slowed down Disco peice.

Ruben & Ra taken on ‘Street Dance’

I thought the title of London Disco duo Ruben & Ra’s new track was evocative of something very familiar, and I was right.

This new tune is their take on Break Machine’s classic ‘Street Dance’ (a bit of a favourite of mine!). Lifting the call-to-dance vocals and that instantly recognisable whistling lead line Ruben & Ra mix it up with a little Nu-Disco, a ‘90’s house organ bass and create a modern anthem.

Monarchy reMixed by Moonlight Matters

As the reMixes for Monarchy and Britt Love‘s new single, the reworked, ‘You Don’t Won’t To Dance With Me’, Moonlight Matters set the bar pretty high with his new mix.

Bringing in a slightly new style for him, MM drops a bouncy, squelch bassline and goes heavy on the vocal manipulation, but it’s the rock solid piano riff that drives this reMix at the forefront. The piano in combination with the vocals give the track a real big room feel.

Monarchy (Feat. Britt Love) – You Don’t Want To Dance With Me (Moonlight Matters reMix)

‘You Don’t Want To Dance With Me’ originally comes from the ‘Around The Sun’ album, out now, the single comes out in October.

Le Crayon’s new track

lecrayon

Le Crayon’s latest addition to his SoundCloud is a bit of power Disco with a bassline that is aimed squarely at getting the party started.

Beside the killer bass riff, which with rock you when it kicks in, the track has all the elements of a Nu-Disco floorfiller. Wicked Disco licks, majestic breakdowns and this distant sax that floats in and out of the tune and hooks your brain.

Clancy reMixes Alec Carlsson’s new single

alec carrlson

This week Alec Carlsson drops his new single for On The Fruit Records. ‘Royal Lives’ is a sweeping Nu-Disco floorfiller cock full of Disco strings and massive builds.

The reMix package includes work from Geisha Twins, The Phantom’s Revenge and The Alpha Snail. The highlight, though, is Clancy’s retro powerhouse mix. From the moment the digital bass kicks in this track is a treat., as it works it’s body shaking way around layers of sparkling arpeggios and just when your getting into the track this really sweet subtly lead jumps in after the breakdown to really lift the track to the next level.
