Sorry for the lack of post last week guys. Things are busy IRL, this week is pretty busy too but I’ll try to post as often as I can. Next week normal service resumes!
So, La Roux have just dropped the new video for their next single ‘Bulletproof’. Check out the neon goodness!
‘Bulletproof’ is out on June 15th.
Cagedbaby’s current single ‘Forced is a huge electronic anthem with a healthy crop of reMixes out there, but with a tune like this there’s always room for more.
Essex producer 10 Rapid has dropped us his take on the track, a main-room Electro-House stomper with an absolutely killer bassline! The quality of this reMix defiantly singles out 10 Rapid as one to watch.

May 18th sees the release of 10 Rapid’s own début single, ‘Minor Riot/Start Marching’, much more of a raw, no bullshit, Electro affair than the reMix, on Exceptional Records
‘Forced’ is out now on on Southern Fried Records.
Heads We Dance have been rumoured to be doing a track with Little Boots for a while now and here is the fruits of that labour.
‘Work It Out’ is the B-side to HWD’s forthcoming single ‘When The Sirens Sound’, a single that will include reMixes from such exiting names as Don Diablo, Russ Chimes and Hot Pink Delorean. There should be some fantastic 80’s sounding dance tracks amongst that lot!
‘Work It Out’ is a bit more guitary than we have come to expect from Heads We Dance but is a fun tune nonetheless. it will go down a treat on any Indie dancefloor. Nice big rock chorus!

‘When The Sirens Sound’ is released on May 18th via This Is Fake DIY Records/Gash Digital
The week in Bangers: While electronic rumors isn’t strictly an Electro-House blog, we do cover a lot of Electro-House that crosses over in to our realm. So many good club tunes and reMixes surface each week we can’t (and wouldn’t) cover them all, so this is a round up of some of the best from the week that we didn’t have time to dedicate individual posts to…
Some storming tracks for you this week. Starting with a fantastic Grum reMix of Friendly Fires and a diamond hard Diamond Cut reMix of Evermore. Datarock get the reMix treatment from Château Marmont while Team Canada DJs take on Cut Copy. Lions At Your Door are mixed by Polymorphic and there’s The Juan Maclean’s version of Duchess Says’ ‘Black Flag’. Jells Mayhem turns in a hard and heavy mix of Lily Allen’s ‘The Fear’ and we leave you with the cool, chilled ‘King Of The Witches’ by Capracara.

Ed Banger Records and Because Music are a constant supply to top quality electro-House and Nu-Disco and Krazy Baldhead is no exception. The Parisian makes deep, interesting electronic music.
Check out this club mix originally from the ‘Sweet Night’ EP and ‘3rd Movement Part 3’ on Krazy’s début album, ‘The B Suite’.
The reMix up’s the dancefloor ante. Taking, what was, a laidback, glitchy, tune and gets it’s groove on!

Both ’Sweet Night’ and ‘The B suite’ are out now:
May 25th sees the release of Heartbreak’s latest offering. The ‘Deceit’ EP will contain three brand new tracks and three reMixes, two of ‘We’re Back’ by Vitalic and Romantix, and one of ‘Soul Transplant’ by Allez-Allez.
It’s defiantly one to look forward to, Heartbreak are just the right combination of SynthPop, Italo, Electro and Disco.
Here’s Vitalic’s take on ‘We’re Back’, love the 70’s analog lead lines.

Heartbreak are about to embark on the NME Radar Tour in the UK with La Roux, go check them out if you can!
Passion Pit’s brilliant upcoming single ‘The Reeling has been given the reMix treatment by Calvin Harris.
Whilst, personally, I don’t think it’s quite as good as the original, it does provide a sweet dancefoor version with some crazy slap bass action.
The more you listen to it the more it grown on you, if you don’t find yourself grooving a little to this you must be dead inside.

‘The Reeling’ is out on May 11th followed by Passion Pit’s début album ‘Manners’ on May 18th.
Empire Of The Sun are often reMixed, some good, some mediocre. When you have a name like The Golden Filter who have repeatedly dropped top quality Disco gems you know you’re in for one of the good ones.
The Golden Filter bring a little of their ‘Sold Gold’ magic to the table. Their dreamy Electro Disco seems a perfect fit with Empire Of The Sun’s track.

Go grab yourself some of the top electronic music around right now!
Old school ElectroClash (if there can be such a thing?) nightclub legend Spencer Product explodes from the New York scene once more with a new release on Coco Machette.
The Original Mix of ‘We Bite!’ is pretty standard ElectrocClash fare, I was always a little suspicious of ElectroClash, but there are some excellent reMixes from current BlogHouse darlings Designer Drugs and Tronik Youth the former putting the groove back into the song and the latter creating a robotic disco epic.

Tronik Youth’s is my favourite
‘We Bite!’ is out now.
With ‘Bulletproof’, La Roux’s third single, incoming it’s time to brace ourselves for the inevitable tide of reMixes…not that that’s a bad thing.
Here La Roux are taken on by London House Award magnet Wookie who gives us a odd, but compelling, tom-tom-tastic reMix.
It’s all 909’s and heavy bass!
