Keenhouse Vs. NightWaves

Keenhouse

Ahh, Keenhouse, his ‘Deep In The Forest’ is possible my favourite track on last years amazing ‘Valerie And Friends’ compilation and NightWaves, well, they’ve been rockin’ my .mp3 player for a fair few of months now.

The two of them together is Synth gold! Sweet analog lead lines and chilled vocals, this is everything Binary is about!

‘Ari-es’ is originally taken from the amazing ‘Binary Presents: LA Lights’ compilation.

Florrie + Fred Falke

Florrie

Florrie, well, for a start she’s the in-house drummer for the production team responsible for pretty much all of the good ‘proper’ Pop music in the charts in the last decade, Xenomania. She’s also a singer/songwriter in her own right and is débuting classy Pop tune after Pop tune.

As with the last track to surface ‘Call 911’ this latest song, ‘Panic Attack’ has also been given the reMix treatment by none other than Fred Falke.

It’s a, frankly, infectious slice of electronic Pop that has a really strong (and obvious) Xenomania influence with seems to work well with Falke’s trademark bassline.

Diamond Cut reMix M’Black

M'Black

Another quality reMix from Diamond Cut. Man, they just seem to be ably to knock out tune after tune in the past couple of months!

Here they are tackling the new single from Matti Schwartz’s project M’Black featuring the vocals of Nicol. The original is a proper ElectroPop/Electro-House anthem and Diamond Cut take that feeling even further bringing an 80’s teen movie vibe to a hands in the air epic.

Monarchy’s new single; Kris Menace reMix

Monarchy02

British SynthPop duo Monarchy may still remain a mystery but the good tunes keep coming. Their combination of chilled out dance grooves, classic SynthPop and beautiful lyrics are winning over hearts, minds and ears everywhere.

Their next single’ The Phoenix Alive’ is out next month and features reMixes by Kris Menace and Hot City. You can hear the Kris Menace mix here, with a kinda’ of old school feel, and kinda’ epic.

Foreign Office reMixed by Warrior One

ForeignOffice

London four piece Foreign Office’s début single, the Indie-Disco-Pop ditty ‘Leaving The House’ has been given an Italo influenced reMix by east end duo Warrior One.

Like a clash between Italo, ElectroPop and Bleep-House, Warrior One’s mix is all square waves and distorted claps. Pulsating basslines and an infectious melody make this a killer reMix. Check it:

Burns new video

Here is the video for  Burns new single ‘So Many Nights’.

Appropriately it was filmed over the course of his US tour with Deadmau5 and it’s a pretty stompin’ slice of Electro-House:

Fenech-Soler + ZX

Fenech-Soler03

UK Electro outfit ZX stopped by the electronic rumors Inbox recently to drop off their reMix of their friends, Fenech-Soler’s, track ‘L.A. Love’.

It’s an interesting reMix, both bright & melodic and deep & dirty at the same time. Taking the soaring retro lead lines of Dreamwave and mashing them into big Ed Banger-esq distorted synths ZX have produced a pretty quality slice of Electro Noise-Pop.

Fenech-Soler – L.A. Love (ZX Club Mix) (zShare) (MediaFire)

You can head their sound defined on these couple of original tracks, again walking the line between distorted French-House and smooth retro Dreamwave. Defiantly a name to keep an eye on.

Cassette Club reMix Passion Pit

PassionPit03

The good folks at Eye Industries sent on over this reMix of Passion Pit’s now classic ‘Sleepyhead’ by Cassette Club in lieu of their début single, ‘4 Me’.

CC’s Ben Macklin and Tom Hammond bring their own brand of feel-good ElectroPop to Passion Pit’s Indie-Electro with results in a  type of, almost hands-in-the-air, Electro (it’s a pity hipsters are far to cool for that!) that’s retro enough to make you smile in reminisce but contemporary enough to shake your booty ‘til it falls off!
