Ali Jamieson is a total synth geek, synth journo and one quarter of the band J-Treole. He’s also the man who produced ‘Four Thirty’, and it kicks ass.

A mid-tempo Nu-Disco jam with a dirty groove, ‘Four Thirty’ expertly counterpoints gritty chainsaw synths with slick Disco and Funk leads. The track is smooth and sexy as hell, the laid back analog vibing conjuring up nothing but good times .

Bastille Edits Duck Sauce

We features Los Angeles Disco duo Bastille a couple of weeks ago and really dug their tunes, now they have sent on over their edit of Duck Sauce’s unreleased ‘Radio’.

The guys cut up this 80’s post-punk slice of New York Disco that the duo of A-Trak and Armand Van Gelded debuted at Coachella this year into a stomping retro dancefloor goodness. So desperate were Bastille to play the track out hat they whipped up this edit, which should keep everyone happy until it’s released. Those samples from The Members are gonna’ tear up dancefloors this summer.

Sitting alongside reMixes from Yelle DJs (tEPr & GrandMarnier) and Weekend Wolves, Moonlight Matters works his Disco magic. Taking the Swedish ElectroPop outsiders and easing their tune into a  Funk fuelled dense Disco tune is no mean feat, but the Belgian producer pulls it off effortlessly making their abstract vocal style seem perfectly at home amongst the slap bass driven raw Disco sounds.
