[Video] Satin Jackets’ ‘Shine On You’

Satin Jackets feat Esser Shine On You Official Video YouTube

A couple of days ago we made some noise about the MiGHty mOUse and Ben Macklin reMixes of Satin Jackets and Esser’s forthcoming new single, Shine On You. Now check out the new video for the track. Visuals!

The clip is directed by Chris Ullens with funky animation over vintage video. Nice.

Esser’s ‘Headlock’ reMixed by Midnight Conspiracy

Esser’s ‘Headlock’ is getting on a bit now, but it was a good tune, so it’s nice to see it brought back to life by Chicago’s Midnight Conspiracy.

We previously featured their reMix of Chromeo’s ‘Night By Night’, this time it’s not the Dreamwave road they are travelling, oh no. Here, they treat us to some real deep dark Dubstep, and it works so well! Midnight Conspiracy lay down some throbbing subs to rival anything coming out of Bristol or LDN!

So we’ve had Dreamwave/Italo and Dubstep, pretty exited to hear what Midnight Conspiracy tackle next!

The week in Bangers: 29:03:09

The week in Bangers: While electronic rumors isn’t strictly an Electro-House blog, we do cover a lot of Electro-House that crosses over in to our realm. So many good club tunes and reMixes surface each week we can’t (and wouldn’t) cover them all, so this is a round up of some of the best from the week that we didn’t have time to dedicate individual posts to…

It’s a week or so old now but the Acid Girls remix of Mini Viva’s ‘I Left My heart In Tokyo’ is still doin’ it, as is FC Kahuna’s work on Noah And The Whale. Youth’s reMix of Elke’s ‘Blue Dream Lover’ is a smooth dancefloor groover in contrast to Esser & A1 Bassline’s noisy Electro/Dubstep flavoured jam. Moving into a more ElectroPop arena is Cinemax with ‘Smudged’, as reMixed be Melee Beats. Bringing things crashing back to the dancefloor is Bit Funk’s take on vitaminsforyou and this weeks big hype magnet, Warp 1.9 by The Bloody Beetroots teaming up with Steve Aoki to seriously rock the place. Finally Curtis Vodka gets made over, by electronic rumors favourites DMX Krew, into a 1988 Acid House trip.
