Bastille Edits Duck Sauce

ducksauce

We features Los Angeles Disco duo Bastille a couple of weeks ago and really dug their tunes, now they have sent on over their edit of Duck Sauce’s unreleased ‘Radio’.

The guys cut up this 80’s post-punk slice of New York Disco that the duo of A-Trak and Armand Van Gelded debuted at Coachella this year into a stomping retro dancefloor goodness. So desperate were Bastille to play the track out hat they whipped up this edit, which should keep everyone happy until it’s released. Those samples from The Members are gonna’ tear up dancefloors this summer.

Lo Fi Fnk – Boom (Moonlight Matters Remix)

lofifnk

Coming straight off of Lo-Fi-Fnk’s reMix package for their new single, ‘Boom’, here’s the slick Disco of Moonlight Matters’ version.

Sitting alongside reMixes from Yelle DJs (tEPr & GrandMarnier) and Weekend Wolves, Moonlight Matters works his Disco magic. Taking the Swedish ElectroPop outsiders and easing their tune into a  Funk fuelled dense Disco tune is no mean feat, but the Belgian producer pulls it off effortlessly making their abstract vocal style seem perfectly at home amongst the slap bass driven raw Disco sounds.

Rimer London & Renkas

rimeroni

You’ll probably know by now we here at electronic rumors are pretty big fans of Rimer London. Rimeroni Vumani’s analog, really synthetic, Disco sound just does it for us.

His recent single ‘Put Your Gun Away’ has been reMixed by, amongst others, Renkas for the reMix package. Renkas bring his laid back, almost Tropical, Electro Disco take on the track. A bouncy analog synth fans dream, this reMix is both retro and futuristic.

‘Put Your Gun Away’ is out now on Magnetron Music, with reMixes from the likes of Surkin, Para One, SirOJ, Mr. Jones and Nobody Beats The Drum.

Shook reMixes Fallulah

Fallulah

Break out the Moog Funk, Dutch smooth Disco king Shook has reMixed Danish Indie-Pop singer Fallulah’s ‘I Lay My Head’.

This is the perfect track to ease you into the weekend. That thick synth bass has got the Funk so hard that it would get your head nodding even if you were in a neck brace. Add to that some sweet Disco licks some 70’s roller-rink lead lines and you’ve got yourself a heady summertime jam that slides across the dancefloor.
