Maighréad’s ‘In The Beginning’ video
Maighréad & Disco Damage’s ‘In The Beginning’ single has finally got itself a music video.
It’s a suitably Housey, all very shiny and lens flare heaven. I think Maighréad’s a really interesting artist and would have maybe liked to see something a little more inspired to show off the song. Still, it’s a slick looking production, and an ace track.

Goin’ Old School: Yellow Magic Orchestra – Rydeen
Yellow Magic Orchestra have been making boundary pushing electronic music and ElectroPop since before you know what a synthesizer was. Show some respect! ‘Rydeen’ is from 1980, by which time they were already comfortable making big Electro jams while much of the rest of the world was on Tomorrow’s World complaining that synthesizer music wasn’t somehow real.
