Adeyhawke’s new tune

FULL_02

Adeyhawke is back with a brand new track and this time he’s mixing up the SynthWave with some funkin’ Nu-Disco and some slick Yacht-like melodies.

‘Lords’ is almost mind-blowing in it’s complex layers of basses and leads. Twisting basslines and intricate melodies dodge and weave in and out of each other, cut-up and infused with the strongest medical grade Funk around. Keeping his trademark retro feel, the track is loaded with ‘80’s sounds’ Adeyhawke give ‘Lords’ a Disco injection that commands the listener to move. You just can’t help it.

The Supermen Lovers’ ‘Say No More’ video

The video for The Supermen Lovers’ new single ‘Say No More’ has landed.

What’s going on in the clip that accompanies this twisted Nu-Disco tune? I couldn’t say. Is it as random as it looks? Who can tell?

‘Say No More’ is out now.

Dragonette’s new single

Dragonette

Duck and cover, Dragonette are back. The first bomb to drop from their new album, ‘Let It Go’ is the first single and title track. Power ElectroPop incoming!

‘Let It Go’ is full-on, in-your-face, ElectroPop awesomeness. Upbeat and fun, with a bouncy groove, the new single is the Canadian’s on top form. As with most of their recent tracks, this is total synthesizer assault. A hint of Dreamwave gives ‘Let It Go’ a nice summery feel over is pure anthemic Pop. Big synths, big beats, big sing-along-lyrics and probably headed for doing big things in the charts.

Fridge Magnets

Fridge Magnets are a Glaswegian/Aberdonian  Indie-Electro outfit who have just won best Electronic act at the Scottish Alternative Music  Awards and are now setting their sights  south of the wall.

Check out the video for their single ‘Death Of Rock ‘N’ Roll’ for a taste of what to expect in their big, anthemic, epic ElectroPop. It’s pretty rousing stuff with ballsy impassioned vocals and a nice mix of infections melodies and chainsaw synths.

If your in London this months you can check out Fridge Magnets on 18th April at Notting Hill Arts Club and 21st April at The Nest in Dalston.

SevdahBABY & Djixx’s new video

Our favourite Serbian purveyor of all things big and Housey SevdahBABY is back with Djixx for his new single, ‘Izvini Dušo Izvini’.

‘Izvini Dušo Izvini’ finds the duo in a summery mood with a sure-fire hit for the warmer months and a video that sees Djixx go through more wardrobe changes that a Madonna show.

Perseus’ Love In Zanzibar’

Perseus

This weekend French Express main man Perseus dropped another new free tune, and like ‘Seychelles’, it doesn’t disappoint.

The Mary J. Blige sampling ‘Love In Zanzibar’ is exotic Disco at it’s finest and although the vocal snippet dominates the track, it’s the synth bassline that is the real draw here. It plays out a robotic Funky groove which provides the whole route for the rest of the track to be smooth and soulful over. File this under ‘perfect tunes for lazy summer days’.
