St. Lucia is a South African Indie-Electro songwriter residing in Brooklyn who début single, ‘All Eyes On You’ has been reMixes up a treat by ’96 Bulls.
The Bulls (Armstrong & Jackson) get everything just right with their Antipodean Nu-Disco, loaded with retro sounds that the duo bring straight to the club for a DiscoElectroPop floorfiller, and that’s before the sax kicks in. Oh, the sax….

Marina And The Diamonds’s forthcoming single ‘Radioactive’ is a weird one. It’s a good song, let down by dated production from Stargate. As we said in our post fearing the video we were excited to hear some of the reMixes. In our view there is no better way to kick thing off than with ElectroPop/Nu-Disco producer extraordinaire Starsmith.
Bewilderingly, this reMix won’t be featured on the single (someone is making bad decisions for our Marina), in fact the decision is made all the more strange by the fact that Starsmith’s version of the track feels and sounds like a more well rounded, contemporary and relevant single that the Stargate produced original. This is how the track should have sounded all along. This is Marina back on the top of the quirky ElectroPop pile. Thank you Starsmith.

SoundCloud is now bursting at the seems with reMixes of Fear Of Tigers’ ‘The Adventures Of Pippi Longstrump’ for their reMix competition. We’ve already dropped some of our favourites, now lets check out some of the newest entries.
Guy Zalaxy produces an impressive, smooth, night drive of a track which is heavy on the electro toms (no bad thing) and a chilled retro flavour. Pidoo’s reMix is deep deep deep. A speaker shaking, almost Dubby, bass dominates the track and gives Mz. Longstrump an edge of aggression. Lastly Seb Santabarbara’s mix brings a nice combination of 80’s influenced Electro and rocking Electro-House, the mixture of retro chords and dancefloor riffs give the track loads of energy.

Follow @electronicrumorEver wonder what became of Indie-ElectroPop funsters Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head? Well, they became Brite Futures (I presume for legal reasons) and are back with a brand new track.
‘Baby Rain’ is more good time gangly synthy Indie-Pop and confirms that the name change hasn’t affected their sound much. Catchy and summery, Brite Futures’ forthcoming album will, no doubt, be another collection of great party tunes.
Brite Future’s new album is due out 1st November.

Earlier this week we told you how Futurecop! was giving away the updated version of their track ‘N.A.S.A.’, featuring Christian Rich, as a single on SoundCloud.
Now, awesome retro Disco producer ODahl has been added to the tracklist with his take on the tune. Boy, can ODahl make it smooth! Loaded with Funk synth sounds and a Disco beat his mix is everything we’ve come to expect from ODahl and, as ever, it has that cool beach vibe.
