Kate Boy’s ‘Northern Lights’ video

Don’t really know much about this, other than it being bigged-up by The Sound OF Arrows’ Stefan Storm in Twitter over the weekend. It’s the new track from Sweedish ElectroPop outfit Kate Boy, Northern Lights. An enigmatic, driving moody Pop tune with above average intelligence.

Skiow directs the video, which is beautiful and hypnotic to watch.

Tensnake’s ‘Mainline’ video

This is the new video for Tensnake’s  single Mainline, released last week, featuring London bass chanteuse Syron. It’s classic House madness.

The clip is also suitably Early 90’s. Put together by PONDR it;s get everything right, from camera work, to fashion, to graphics.

Here’s the new clip from Johnny Jewel’s Desire project. the track, Tears From Heaven, is taken form the forthcoming Italians Do It Better compilation After Dark 2.

Once again shot by Alberto Rossini, the clip delivers grainy, vintage style footage of singer Megan Louise, and some other stuff.

Kid Kasio’s ‘Telephone Line’ video

Kid Kasio has just premièred his new video, it’s for the insanely catchy Telephone Line, taken from his amazing début album from earlier this year, Kasiotone.

Directed by Nick Gough & Kid Kasio himself, the clip is another excursion into KK’s mid-80s dreamland. The look, the fashion, the video effects, all mount up into one incredible fun, authentic Top Of The Pops experience.

LIGHTS’ ‘Timing Is Everything’ video

LIGHTS new video, her first since February’s Banner clip is the third single taken from her excellent Siberia album. The catchy ElectroPop noise romp Timing Is Everything is a definitely a good choice for single material.

The clip was directed by Ken Galloway and is a colourful slick of kitsch that seems to fit LIGHTS personality well.

M83’s ‘Steve McQueen’ video

The long-awaited video for the awesome M83’s Steve McQueen has finally premièred. What can do this Chillwave/SynthPop epic justice?

The video is the end result of a video making competition whose only rule was “it;s not about the actor!”. The winning entry was this amazing clip from French directors Balthazar Auxietre and Sylvain Derosne. just watch the video, it’s magical.
