Kitsuné Maison 9; MiniMix By JBAG

Kitsuné Music are dropping the 9th Maison compilation in April. ‘The Petit Bateau Edition Or The Cotton Issue’ features a great line up of acts, many of which we have been championing here at electronic rumors. Jupiter, Fenech-Soler, The Good Natured, Silver Columns, Penguin Prison, Monarchy, loads of good stuff. Nice to see Yuksek back too!

Delphic in Doubt

I’ve been meaning to drop some Delphic on you for a while now. This Manchester Indie Dance outfit are making some pretty big waves amongst both music fans and press with some even going so far as to call them the “New Order for the 21st century”. Their last single “This Momentary” on Kitsuné Music was a genre crushing tune the received some pretty great acclaim and they have been tearing it up live un and down the UK.

Delphic are about to drop their début album ‘Acolyte’ on their own label Chimeric and here we have a couple of reMixes of the first single from the album, ‘Doubt’ by Riton and Ramadanman. Riton’s mix has already been floating around for a while and is a work of cut-up genius.

Kitsuné Maison 8; MiniMix By JBAG

It’s that time again!

November sees volume 8 of Kitsuné Music’s Kitsuné Maison series released. This one’s subtitled ‘The Chic And Nice Issue’.

It looks like there will be some pretty exiting stuff on here, the likes of CHEW LiPS, Heartsrevolution and Le Corps Mince De Françoise are always welcome. Two Door Cinema Club and Delphic are massive right now, both have albums out on Kitsuné soon and the new Midnight Juggernauts single is on there too, bonus!

New Heartsrevolution video!

With Kitsuné Music’s imminent release of their seventh Kitsuné Maison compilation, ‘The Lucky Ones’, Heartsrevolution have premiered the video for the song they have featured on the album.

Entitled ‘薔薇と彼女の王子’, which translates as ‘The Rose And Her Prince’ the tune is a bit of a departure from the usual happy noise terror we are used to with the Heart’s Challenger lot, it’s more downtempo, more chilled, but I am so in love with this track!

‘薔薇と彼女の王子’ is just one of the fantastic cuts on Kitsuné Maison 7 which is released June 1st.

Kinda’ like Crystal Castles joined by Peter Hook and Róisín Murphy, CHEW LiPS’ rise from ‘just formed’ to ‘getting bigged up by BBC radio and signed to Kitsuné’ has been sickeningly fast 😉 . All deserved though!
