If you’ve read this post before, don’t panic, you’re not stuck in a time loop. For some reason the original post disappeared. From the site, from Feedburner and from Window Live Writer (the writing tool I use). Just like that. the only evidence it ever existed was it got autoposted to Twitter and Facebook. Luckily Facebook has all the text so I can just recreate it. I’m keeping an eye on this tricky bastard though!

Poolside Vs. Goldroom
Josh Legg’s Goldroom project just keeps going from strength to strength.
He’s just dropped this reMix of Poolside’s ‘Do You Believe’?’ and it’s another storming track full of those chilled Goldroom vibes. With a slightly Tropical feel to the melody and percussion and some smooth music DNA running through this reMix is a head on collision between Disco and Yacht Rock. Perfect for lazy summer evenings.

Cyndi Seui’s ‘Flash Back’
Thailand’s reigning ElectroPop and Nu-Disco champion Cyndi Seui had dropped a new track.
‘Flash Back’ will be the first single out on Cyndi’s own Kitsch Cat label, coming out the Kitsch Cat compilation. It’s synthfunktastic, proving Cyndi defiantly has what it takes to rise to the top of the Nu-Disco game as he mixes up slick 80’s Poppy vocal with some low-down sexy grooves and layers of lush body moving electronic music.

Kimbra reMix from Sam Sparro
Sam Sparro, alongside Golden Touch, is next in line to reMix New Zealand’s queen of pop Kimbra’ ‘Cameo Lover’.
The duo go down an analog Pop route with some smooth 80’s sounds and hint of Disco yet for the chorus keeps the 60’s Pop flavour. We are rapidly approaching over saturation of ‘Cameo Lover’ reMixes so Sam got in at a good time. It’s an awesome track, but I think If I hear another reMix I’d like it to go down a road other than Disco. G.L.O.V.E.S. and Shook have done that better than most could already.

Marina And The Diamonds – Fear & Loathing
Marina And The Diamonds is back, things are going to get confusing.
So, whet we have here is part one of ‘Electra Heart’ which is, or who is, apparently a singer (not an alter-ego) who “epitomises and embodies the lies, illusions and death of American ideologies involved in the corruption of self.”. We’ll have to watch an see how this plays out. This first part is called ‘Fear And Loathing’ which features a track from Marina’s forthcoming album…called ‘Fear And Loathing’. I’m seeing a pattern here!
