If you want some pure electronic burbling the Acid Washed is always a sure bet.

Check their new reMix of Koudlam ‘I See you All’, it layers arpeggio upon arpeggio whist always retaining that, almost quirky, sense of music humour you often get with Acid Washed tracks. Lifelike’s new single

This is a huge tune. The new single from the consistently amazing French über producer Lifelike, out this week, is ‘Motion’.

Lifelike’s second single of 2011 kicks you in the ears and demands you dance. The first four minutes or this six minute epic are like one long build, a growling bassline in you face the whole time. When it drops and the hats make an appearance the tune goes crazy ushering in some Disco chords and some dancefloor apeshit moments. Definitely a tune to rock your weekend.

Ren Riz’s new jams

Mr. Ren Riz dropped a couple of new tunes over the weekend, that’s the kind of thing that makes the Monday morning trawl through the inbox worth while!

‘Alright’ is a straight-up dancefloor rocker. It’s hands-in-the-air uplifting with a twisted disco bassline and and old school House vibe that is just the right side of cheese. ‘Electrique Blanc’ on the other hand, is a mid-tempo electronic epic. A pounding journey though sweeping synthesizer atmospheres, accompanied by an nice 80’s appreciated bassline. Like his fellow Antipodean Beaumont, Ren Riz is applying his skills as a N-Disco producer to slower tracks with powerful results.

Maighréad’s ‘In The Beginning’ video

Maighréad & Disco Damage’s ‘In The Beginning’ single has finally got itself a music video.

It’s a suitably Housey, all very shiny and lens flare heaven. I think Maighréad’s a really interesting artist and would have maybe liked to see something a little more inspired to show off the song. Still, it’s a slick looking production, and an ace track.
