We expected there to be a video coming for Du Tonc’s Darkness. The duo of MiGHty mOUse and Van She bassist and ElectroPopper Matt Van Schie’s début single is seriously one of the more impressive first records we’ve heard in ages. With a sprinkling of Indie, 80s, ElectroPop, Tropical and Disco, Darkness has something for everybody.

Check the hedonistic, feel good video, directed by Simon Savory. A colourful thesis on just letting everybody be who they want to be and have a good time.

Goin’ Old School isn’t a trip down music memory lane, it’s a mugging in the dark alleyway of nostalgia:

SynthPop pioneer and all-round electronic experimentalist, the late Fad Gadget’s 1980 single Ricky’s Hand.

And The Rock Steady Crew with their 1984 follow up to (Hey You) The Rock Steady Crew (a track with one of the greatest synth riffs ever), Uprock.
