Metronomy’s ‘The Bay’ single finally sees it’s release at the start of July.
Some of the reMixes have been getting some well deserved play and airtime for the last couple of months. If you’re in the mood for something a bit ElectroPoppy and deep with a nice analog drum machine beat and a hypnotic riff then check out Stopmakingme’s version of the track.

Next week sees the release of awesome Aussie ElectroPop duo Bag Raiders’s self titles début album over here in the UK.
If you’ve already imported it you’ll know it’s a stunning body of work. Funky, powerful and consistently catchy, it’s 11 tracks of some of the best produced ElectroPop you’ll hear all year. It even made our top 20 albums of 2010!
Following the album will be the single release of ‘Sunlight’, including this reMix from Stopmakingme, who strips the track down to a solid groove to highlight the vocoding. Great stuff!

When this reMix by Stopmakingme of Marina And The Diamonds’ ‘I Am Not A Robot’ landed in the electronic rumors inbox, I though “here we go again”, but I’m SO glad I gave it a listen.
Firstly ‘cos i discovered that ‘I Am Not A Robot’ is being rereleased as Marina’s next single and secondly ‘cos it’s a storming reMix, Stopmakingme really does take the song in a completely new direction. Fittingly, for the title, that direction is vocoder laden robo-Disco. The London producer has crafted six minutes of hypnotic, other-worldly, Electro that messes with Marina’s vocal melodies for it’s own gain!

We haven’t had a Little Boots for a while, i thought there’d be more reMixes of ‘Earthquake’ knocking around! I’m glad this one found it’s way to us though!
London’s Stopmakingme just plain go weird synth crazy on this track It’s a dark, schizophrenic, random mix using some beautiful synth sounds!
