Rogue Vogue is that rare beast, a Chicago House producer actually from Chicago. I wonder if that makes him really smug at Chicago House producer get-togethers? If it was me I would well play the Chicago card all the time.
His latest track, When I Looked At You, was premiered on the last of The Magician’s Magic Tapes, and is released soon through French Express. It’s a proper deep Chicago groove complete with piano hook and hollow bass. Apparently, with the resurgence of early ‘90’s House sounds people are saying “jackin’” again, well this is without a doubt a jackin’ tune with a smooth vocal hook. Proper late night danceflor stuff whit this amazing lead line that occasionally drops in and out. This is the real deal.
