‘Gentle Man’ is Jensen Sportag’s latest track is a perfect exercise in smooth 80’s Pop with a modern twist. Part MJ ballad, part spacey Chillwave and part 80’s Pop classic. there’s a hint of early Duran Duran in the music too. These two guys from Nashville certainly know how to craft and absorbing and nostalgic tune.

Nashville’s finest ElectroFunk exports Jensen Sportag have turned their attention to reMixing the new single from Memory Tapes.
Taken from the free ‘Memory Tapes Tour EP’, a collection of reMixes, the Sportags’ reMix of ’Wait In The Dark’ is a dreamy affair. The solid backbeat acts as a hypnotising rock for the waves of lush synths and distant guitars to crash over. It’s a real chilled summer hit that I can imaging we’ll be listening to for a while.

Four new tracks of the smooth funk tinged Disco sounds of Nashville duo Jensen Sportag are about to drop in the form of their new EP, ‘Pure Wet’.
Out on Cascine, the EP is choc full of thick, warm, grooves. Take ‘Everything Good’, it’s a prime example of Jensen Sportag’s power funk bass, cosmic synths and laidback vocals. Pure feel good Disco, these jams are for late nights and lazy Sundays.

The package is seriously top quality, here are just three examples of what to expect. Hidden Cat turn in a brilliant space Disco mix that keeps the killer riff but layers it will analog noodling.
