Swedish Indie kooks Shout Out Louds have got their friends Passion Pit to grace their single ‘Fall Hard’ with one of their classic reMixes.
And PP synth the track right up! Layering deep analog basses and lush synth pads Passion Pit have warped Shout Out Loud’s track into a prefect summer synth jam.

‘Fall Hard’ is the first single from Shout Out Louds forthcoming album ‘Work’.
Ghost Hunter have done this atmospheric, chilled out reMix for Merok records artists Comanechi. Their usual guitar heavy noise pop is replaced here with, almost Trip-Hop, electronic soundscapes giving the song a sense of beauty and mystery that the original version never accomplished.

We’ve been very impressed with many of Diamond Cut’s recent reMixes so when a new one hits the electronic rumors inbox it always makes us sit up and pay attention.
Here he has turned his skills to Lo-Fi bedroom popsters The Candle Thieves and their track ‘We’re All Gonna’ Die (Have Fun)’ turning the quirky Indie-Pop track into a smooth ElectroPop journey that carries you away on sweeping synths whist retaining the intimate feel of the original. Great stuff!

Avant-garde Indie-SynthPop genius Chris Corner (ex of Sneaker Pimps) will be taking to the stage with his IAMX project on 20th March at London’s ULU and here at electronic rumors we have managed to get hold of a pair of guest list spaces to give away to a lucky reader.
Since disbanding Sneaker Pimps to concentrate on IAMX, Corner has released three studio albums of genre-blurring electronic pop that have ranged from the uplifting and glam to the dark and atmospheric. An IAMX live show perfectly captures the eclectic nature of the music with a theatricality and flare unique to Corner. Guest appearances are not unusual with artists such as Sue Denim and Dee Plume from Robots in Disguise, James Cook from Nemo and both halves of The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt all having dropped in.

electronic rumors fave, Penguin Prison, has reMixed Indie/alternative singer Jack Peñate’s track of last year ‘So Near’ and effortlessly made it his own.
Creating a funky, soulful, ElectroPop gem, this could be a PP track. It so different from the original whilst keeping the song structure and making it sound like it was always written to be an ElectroPop track. Genius!

Chinese Christmas Cards are a duo of breakthrough artists from Barcelona who won Levi’s Unfamous Music Awards 2009.
They produce some infections and quirky Indie-Electro-Folk-Pop that’s almost like a Spanish The Postal Service, without all the moping around. ‘Welcome To Life’ is their new single and it’s four minutes of uplifting, interesting songwriting based around cheap synths and acoustic guitar. It’s well worth a listen if you’re in a whimsical mood!
