[Video] The New Sins’ ‘Lights Down’

Here’s the video for Lights Down by The New Sins; who are New Young Pony Club’s Lou Hayter and composer Nick Phillips. Lights Down is a pulsating, stripped back, underground House groover.

The clip was directed by Nova Dando and Sophie Allen and if chock full of video effects and definitely about the lights up.

The New Sins début album is slated for a late 2014 release.

[Video] New Young Pony Club’s ‘Hard Knocks’

New Young Pony Club are back with a brand new single. A droning and at the same time Tropical and catchy tune called Hard Knocks.

Laurie Lynch directs the clip with a narrative that fits the track like a gloves.

New Young Pony Club’s Hard Knocks is released 12th August.

New Young Pony Club’s new video

I love it when new releases from bands you like creep up on you. Here’s the video for the forthcoming new single from Indie-Electro champions New Young Pony Club, I didn’t even know they had a forthcoming new single!

The clip for ‘You Used To Be A Man’ is directed by Laura Buckley and is as abstract as the electronic beats. The track show a more subtle, eclectic side to NYPC. We’re liking it!

‘You Used To Be A Man’ is released 7th May.

Munk’s new video

Here we have the new clip for Munk’s ‘So Close’, featuring Lou Hayter (who’s someone in New Young Pony Club who’s not Tahita).

The track is pretty chilled, but pretty infectious.

New Young Pony Club have débuted the video for their next single ‘We Want To’, the second single from their latest album, ‘The Optimist’. It appears to be a funny take on Russian infomercials and adverts.

New Young Pony Club; Chaos video

Following on from their free internet single ‘Lost A Girl’ and in preparation for their forthcoming album ‘The Optimist’, 1st March sees New Young Pony Club release the single ‘Chaos’, the first proper single from the album. They have just premiered the video clip for the track over on their You Tube channel.

Cool song, cool video. More New Young Pony Club than ‘Lost A Girl’ I feel. It’s just nice to have NYPC back!

New New Young Pony Club!!!

New Young Pony Club, the band that spearheaded the 80’s revival/Modular Recordings/Indie-Electro summer of 2007 in the UK finally return with a new single.

‘Lost A Girl’ is a taste of what to expect from their long awaited second album ‘The Optimist’. More obviously Indie than their previous sound but still laden with interesting synth work, it’s a catchy song that takes a little 80’s SynthPop, a little DFA style Electro and a little early 90’s Indie. Welcome back NYPC!
