Ali Jamieson (Feat. Raff) – Coffee Stain (Single)

With reMixes from Black Magic Disco, Ben Macklin & Tommy ’86

Early DJ support from: Lenno, Earl Grey, Dublin Aunts, The Penelopes, Casio Social Club, The C90s, Cosmonauts, JBAG, Auxiliary Tha Masterfader, Jules Schimmer, Polar Sun

Start your summer in smooth style with electronic rumors’ latest release; this one comes from Nu-Disco renaissance man Ali Jamieson. The London based musician has teamed up with soul singer Raff to offer up one of this year’s most buoyant slices of synth driven Funk.

Riding the wave of a rubbery bassline, Coffee Stain serves up a symphony of complex percussion, starlight melodies and densely layered retro sounds; all tied together with an unrelenting vintage dancefloor groove. Add to this Raff‘s bittersweet vocal delivery and you have a track to just sink into and ride the rhythm.

Coffee Stain is given a twist for every crate by Black Magic Disco, Ben Macklin and Tommy ’86. BMD breaks out in full Chicago House style for his gloriously early-90s taken on the track; Macklin blends his Tropical House style with an early-90s R&B flavour on his slinky reMix and Tommy ’86 lives up to his name with a pounding retro Italo-Disco epic.

Infectious as hell, Coffee Stain will be stuck in your head all day.

About Ali Jamieson
When he’s not heading up the Heavy Disco label, being part of the MoFi-HiFi crew, teaching music production or DJing, Mr. Ali Jamieson trades in a slick line of springy-bassed Nu-Disco and synth Funk tunes. The London based musician regularly unleashes funky and innovative reMixes and Edits to critical acclaim injecting both a sense of fun, and a dedication to his craft into everything he does.

About the reMixes
There’s a Coffee Stain reMix for every occasion with acclaimed London based Disco and House producer Black Magic Disco turning the clock back to the early 90’s, Cassette Club‘s Ben Macklin serving up a smooth and summery version and Italo/SynthWave leading light Tommy ’86 taking us back to the 80’s in high-octane style.

BeatLoaf – Romantic (Single)

The latest release from Detroit based enigma BeatLoaf pours Deep House, Electro Funk, Detroit Techno and Synthetic Disco into a musical melting pot. An evolving and intricate tune that takes you on a Sci-Fi dancefloor journey through robotic vocals, modulated synths and storming house beats.

Romantic is an eclectic beast. The Lomen featuring tune takes it’s time to build, ushering the dancefloor on a journey through spiky synthesiser soundscapes before launching into a full force, strobe-lit, underground House jam that is unsettlingly infectious.

The track’s B-side, Without You, is a Synth-Disco epic. An optimistic opus in comparison to it’s moody flip-side, Without You trades android Funk for a shimmering sunrise vibe with Deep House undertones.

About BeatLoaf
Detroit based producer BeatLoaf can be quite easily categorised on the Indie-Dance/Nu-Disco scenes, but this would be to ignore that fact that he can be one of the most eclectic producers working in dance music today. Drawing from a diverse range of electronic music influences he always produces something both dancefloor friendly and cerebral.

About Box Of Wolves
Box of Wolves is a hybrid 90’s Summer Nostalgia/ChillWave/SynthWave music project nursed by The Venom Blog’s Gabriel Akinrinmade out of the whims of his sundry synth modulator experiments. Highly reminiscent of the sounds of Teen Daze, Com Truise, and Washed Out, Box of Wolves, even to bottom-tier music aficionado, runs like a non-obnoxious transcendental LSD alt-party set list. It’s equal parts chill, equal parts solid, thanks in part to basic, but grippingly steady, beats.

About the reMixes
Every dancefloor is covered with this reMix package. We’ve for some future bound Deep House sounds from the UK’s Meloder. Lush Tropical Disco vibes come from much hyped Brooklyn SynthWaver AIMES and big room mainstream sounds are covered by Brazilian floorfiller DeltaFoxx.
