Penguin Prison ‘Multi-Millionaire’ reMix package for free

Penguin Prison had dropped a whole package of awesome reMixes of his ‘Multi-Millionaire’ single for free on his website.

This bundle of Mixes not appearing on the forthcoming single includes work from Graphics, Prince Language, Random Elements, Robert Owens and this track from Lancelot who brings a nervous synth line and some deep Electro grooves to the track, it’s my personal favourite of the set.

Penguin Prison – Multi-Millionaire (Lancelot reMix)

The ‘Multi-Millionaire’ single is out soon and will include a reMix from Shook! Until then pick up the free reMix bundle here.

Cenob1te

Kick out those mid-week blues with Dubstep duo Cenob1te.

Cenob1te are part of the Chocago based Electro, Drum & Bass & DubstepDead Fame collective which includes electronic rumors faves Midnight Conspiracy. Their track, ‘Hell’, is pure, unashamed robotic evil. Textbook Electro heavy Dubstep that infects both body and brain.

Jordan F’s ‘Definitely Miami’

Syndey based producer Jordan F send on over his latest creation, a track called ‘Definitely Miami’.

Jordan hopes it “makes you think of Crockett and Tubbs in a car chase chasing criminals through the streets of Miami”, give it ‘til the midway point and it defiantly does. He’s got some nice 80’s TV theme tropes in there from the drums fills to the power chords, all wrapped up with a deep retro bassline to give it that bit of groove.

Goin’ Old School: Depeche Mode – Strangelove

Strangelove from 1987’s ‘Music For The Masses’ by Depeche Mode, arguably (or at least, I will argue it with you) their finest album.

Hypnolove’s ‘Holiday Reverie’ EP

French analog synth Disco crew Hypnolove are back this month with a new EP produced by Ed Banger’s Mickey Moonlight.

The ‘Holiday Reverie’ EP mixed up some pretty eclectic influences and instrumentation from Disco to Dub to Experimental to ElectroPop with the title track being a funky, weird, summery, Pop tune. Head nodding basses and muted guitar amongst the warm synths are the deal here while ‘Midnight Cruising’ is a cowbell laden, harp solo wielding SynthPop track. there’s also a Mickey Moonlight Dub of each track.

Hypnolove – Midnight Cruising (Mickey Moonlight Dub)

The ‘Holiday Reverie’ EP is out now on vinyl and digitally on the 17th on Record Makers with an album following in October.
