Over at Dirty Disco Tracks they are giving away (yes, giving away!) the first volume of their ‘We Love Dirty Disco Tracks’ compilation.

The album contains seven of Dirty Disco Tracks biggest tunes from 2009 and includes the likes of Dirty Disco Youth, The Disco Villains, Suds ‘N’ Soda and FutureFlashs. Check these two tracks from the album for some straight-up, noisy, Electro, danceflor massacring!

Château Marmont’s new EP

‘Nibiru’ is the title track of the forthcoming second EP by French dreamy ElectroPoppers Château Marmont.

The track sounds like a mash-up between current Dreamwave sounds and 80’s B-Boy Electro, spacey retro synths and arpeggios share the space with 808 claps and robo vocodering creating a fantastic hybrid!

Nearly 14 years later… Alan Wilder on stage with Depeche Mode!!!

Last night Depeche Mode performed a one off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and come encore they were joined on stage by the one and only Alan Wider.

This the first time he has joined his ex-bandmates since leaving the band in June 1995, and forming Recoil. These couple of poor quality videos of the performance of ‘Somebody’ can be your solace for not being there!

All they need now is to convince him to produce the next album and we’re good to go!

Silver Columns reMixed

Silver Columns, slightly less of a mystery than last time we featured them, also slightly less French! LOL Turns out to be Scots Adem and The Pictish Trail (who we had heard rumors it was) making some really interesting ElectroPop.

Their forthcoming single, ‘Cavalier’ has, here, been given a version by The Time And Space Machine, also known as Richard Norris from Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve, who provide a spaced out, prog Electro take on the tune balancing otherworldly synths with a down to earth piano line. Good stuff!

Euphorie

You won’t be surprised to hear that new Electro act Euphorie hail from France!

With most of the attention of Electro lovers out there being put upon Dreamwave recently it’s nice to hear some straight up bangers still being produced, and ‘My Lipids’ certainly is that! It’s a 100% Electro party track that would slay on any dancefloor! ‘Bots Attack’, on the other hand, is a relentless, Industrial, robotic Electro noise attack. Slow and methodical, it’s chainsaw synths will burn your brain!

Japayork

22 year old Londoner Japayork is a graphic designer, photographer, maker of sweet SynthPop tracks and now video director with this excellent self-made video he created for his track ‘Our Now’.

Japayork is defiantly a name to keep an eye on in 2010, his lush, layered synth tunes and personal lyrics are sure to strike a chord with most people who hear them.

Also here we have a reMix of his track ‘Teenager’ that sees Japanese Electro producer Lalory get medieval orchestral all over the track!
