Lightwaves

Lightwaves just happens to be the solo project of Jan Rosenfeld, front-man of the awesome Boston Indie-Electropoppers Yes Giantess, getting his Electro Disco groove on.

His first track ‘Working All Day’ is an amalgamation of Electro styles, mixing up a bit of Robo Disco, a bit of French Touch, a bit of ElectroPop into a happy summer hit. Jan’s got a strong ear for how to rock the dancefloor and ‘Working All Day’ dips and peaks just where it’s supposed to, carrying you along with the cut-up vocoder vocals.

Lovers & Gamblers reMix the hell out of Yes Giantess

YesGiantess03

London’s Lovers & Gamblers are the name on the lips of those electronic music fans in the know right now. So far, even being another ‘mystery’ band (or Victoria Hesketh’s DJ crew!) can’t distract from the amazing retro synth work going on here.

Check their reMix of the brilliant Yes Giantess’ current single ‘The Ruins’ which has already seen reMixes from the likes of Fear Of Tigers, Clock Opera and Baby Monster. L&G’s layers of 80’s hits and warm analog bass sounds make for some sweet ElectroPop/Nu-Disco action!

Fear Of Tigers reMix Yes Giantess

YesGiantess02

Neon Gold have got so many fantastic artists and producers on speed dial that any combination of their associated acts is bound to produce stunning results.

But this hook up of Indie-ElectroPopsters Yes Giantess an the ever wonderful Fear Of Tigers sounds just too good to be true, but it’s not, it manages to live up to expectations!

The Starsmith produces ‘The Ruins’ is a great SynthPop track to begin with, but Fear Of Tigers knocks it out of the park, lifting the track into a epic Nu-Disco powerhouse, a retro synth monster soundtrack to your teenage summers!

New Yes Giantess single!

YesGiantess

We loved Giantess, and now we love Yes Giantess, so we’re pretty stoked to hear they are releasing a new single, ‘The Ruins’, 8th March on Neon Gold.

The Boston band looks likely to have a huge year and this single is a great way to kick it off, perfectly delivering Yes Giantess’ brand of Indie-Disco yet pushing into the Pop spectrum. More dancefloor friendly, maybe due in part to having SynthPop producer extraordinaire Starsmith at the helm, YG have seamlessly blended New York style Indie-Electro with Dreamwave to create, what could well be, the sound of this summer.

Fear Of Tigers, Baby Monster, Clock Opera are rumoured to be stepping up for reMix duties, three names guaranteed to deliver the goods.

Sometimes it seems like all other record labels should just give up and let Neon Gold get on with it!
