New Young Pony Club, the band that spearheaded the 80’s revival/Modular Recordings/Indie-Electro summer of 2007 in the UK finally return with a new single.
‘Lost A Girl’ is a taste of what to expect from their long awaited second album ‘The Optimist’. More obviously Indie than their previous sound but still laden with interesting synth work, it’s a catchy song that takes a little 80’s SynthPop, a little DFA style Electro and a little early 90’s Indie. Welcome back NYPC!

I definitely agree! It’s great to have the band back, and I think some of the album is a bit of a homage to 80s synth bands like Human League and others
