Delta Funktionen’s ‘Onkalo’ video

This is the video fro Electro outfit Delta Funktionen’s Onkalo, taken from their album Traces.

Buro Lamp&Kap directs the clip, a voyeuristic trip though decaying spaces, a fitting match for the dark robotic beats. There some shiny balls too!

The Presets’ ‘Youth In Trouble’

You know what I thought when I went to bed last night? I thought ‘I hope there’s a new track from The Presets released when I wake up’, their first new track for four years’. Look what happened!

Youth In Trouble is finally out today. A hypnotic, undulating, acidic odyssey. Both abrasive and funky as hell. Yoshi Sodeoka directs the video effects hell video, an assault on the senses to match the track.

Youth In Trouble is out now with reMixes from Green Velvet, Alex Metric, and The Finger Prince & Light Year (although we can find it in any store that sells decent quality downloads yet, just iTunes).

The Presets new album Pacifica is out 14th September on Modular.

Sébastien Tellier’s ‘Russian Attractions’ video

Here’s the video for Sébastien Tellier’s new single Russian Attractions, taken from his awesome new album My God Is Blue.

The clip was directed by Meredith Danluck and produced by Vice. Here’s what they say about the clip: “We took the idea of falling in love with a stranger, and considered the fact that love itself is a stranger. There’s a reason we use the word "fall" when referring to love. Because when its pull becomes too strong to resist, you lose your balance and what happens next is an unknown beyond our control. Although scary, the unknown is also undeniable attractive.”. I don’t know about all that, but it look fancy!

‘Cochon Ville’ is the first single taken from Sébastien Tellier‘s new album ‘My God Is Blue’ available now via Record Makers.

Goin’ Old School: Krush, Savage & Information Society

Goin’ Old School isn’t a trip down music memory lane, it’s a mugging in the dark alleyway of nostalgia:

Here’s the first track to be featured on Goin’ Old School twice! We love it that much! Krush’s House Arrest from 1987. One of the best record ever made.

Savage bring the Italo this week with1984’s Only You.

And a bit of American SynthPop for  Information Society with What’s On Your Mind (Pure Energy) from 1988

FM Belfast’s ‘DeLorean’ video

Crazy Icelandic ElectroPop gang FM Belfast have a new single incoming. ‘DeLorean’ is taken from their ‘Don’t Want To Sleep’ album of last year and is typical of FM Belfast’s quirky, but funky, electronic sound.

There a video too, directed by Magnús Leifsson, it’s as madcap as the track, and just as Icelandic and the band themselves.

‘DeLorean’ is released 22nd June.

Orion’s ‘In The End’ video

We were turned on to this track by the guys at Tracasseur, probably the best dance music blog around, who are hyping this new Sweedish ElectroPop producer Orion.

The track is called ‘In The End’ and features Malin Gustavsson on vocals. As Tracasseur points out, Orion has got a Kleerup vibe going on, which works really well with Gustavsson’s throaty Scandinavian delivery. Nice summery, dreamy, ElectroPop,
