Echoes’ ‘Ice Cold’ video

We are very exited about new band Echoes. ‘Nuff said.

We’re not gong to say much, there will be a proper post (choc full of awesome tunes) coming in the next few days but, impatient as we are, we couldn’t resist giving you lot a little taster.

So here is the dreamy video for Echoes’ track ‘Ice Cold’. Directed by Kristoffer Lundberg. It’s rainy summers day-tastic, and the song is that good!

Uffie’s ‘Difficult’ video

I don’t care what the internet says! We still have love for Uffie.

I don’t understand, though, why it takes he so long to do thing, why the album took so long and completely missed taking advantage of all her hype.

Oh well, here is the video for her new single ‘Difficult’, one of my favourite tracks off the album and it’s the best video she’s made to date, easily!

The ‘Difficult’ single is released 18th October.

The Good Natured’s ‘Be My Animal’ single

We’ve already seen the video for, ‘Prisoner’ the B-side of The Good Natured new single, now it’s A-side time!

The lead track, ‘Be My Animal’ is powerful track, almost Industrial in places and an impressive and confident follow up to ‘You Body Is A Machine’. Check the video full of nervous energy.

Also on the single will be a cover of The Wombats recent track ‘Tokyo (Vampires And Wolves)’ which Sarah McIntosh reworks into a haunting aria.

Nikita – Tonight – Video

Sigh…I’ve been meaning to post this for a while but kept getting sidetracked.

A while back we featured the Franzy Scanner reMix of Polish ElectroPop prodigy Pati Yang A.K.A. Nikita’s single ‘Tonite’. Well, here’s the video, Enjoy.

Nikita is currently in the studio with Joe Cross, one of the best ElectroPop producers working in the UK right now, and that can only mean greatness/

The single, ‘Tonight’, is out today..

Walter Sobcek’s ‘Je Me Souviens’ video

Check out some summery dreaminess in the brand new video for Walter Sobcek’s ‘Je Me Souviens’. I won’t re-iterate what we thought of the track, you can read and download the NightWaves reMix in our post earlier this week, suffice to say it’s pretty awesome.

Just enjoy:

LexiconDon’s ‘Student Body’ in video form!

LexiconDon’s ‘Student Body’ has only gone and got itself a promo video!

It’s an amazing track from, what is, one of the ElectroPop albums of the year ‘Pink + Blue’, I think the only thing missing from the LexiconDon package was a music video. Sorted.

Directed by Jason Beattie, the video makes interesting use of colour for a hyper-real 80’s look and is wonderfully tongue in cheek. I would expect nothing less than LexiconDon taking the piss so there’s no disappointment there!

Kylie singing about Bristol!

In the continuing saga of the Kylie Minogue/HURTS love-in Kyle has returned the compliment of being asked to appear on HURTS’ album and HURTS’ covering her ‘Confide In Me’ by covering their, set in Bristol, début track ‘Wonderful Life’ for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

Kylie Minogue – Wonderful Life (HURTS Cover)

It’s actually a really nice arrangement of the track. I think it’s time for Kylie and HURTS to get a room!

Crystal Fighters’ ‘Follow’ video

More stop-motion insanity from Crystal Fighters in the form of their new video, for ‘Follow’, directed this time by Ian Pons Jewell.

Slightly less nightmarish than their last video, for ‘In The Summer’ but I still would’nt try to explain it to anyone.

‘Follow’ is released 27th September with Crystal Fighters début album, ‘Star Of Love’ following in 4th October.

Miami Horror’s ‘Echoplex’ video

This here is the video for Miami Horror’s forthcoming single ‘Echoplex’.

Directed by Cara Stricker, it’s a dreamy, summery four minutes full of models who all go a bit mermaidy. What’s not to like?

‘Echoplex’ is taken from Miami Horror’s début album ‘Illumination’ out now on Virgin.

Lo-Fi-Fnk’s ‘Sleepless’ video

Lo-Fi-Fnk’s new single ‘Sleepless’ had it’s official video premiered today.

We dropped the track itself last month, which is available on 7”or digital from today, it’s a laidback ElectroPop groove that takes you back to the ‘90’s and the video, directed by Tomas Carlsten & Simon Svéd, had an appropriate late night insomniac quality to it.

‘Sleepless’ is released today on Moshi Moshi.
