So, after many false starts and fakes (although the last batch of leaked tracks I was sent seem to have turned out to be real) we finally have an officially released piece from Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy soundtrack and also a first look at how Guy and Thomas will look in their roles as ‘mp3 files’ (read DJs) in the movie.

Daft Punk – The Game Has Changed

SO exited for this, both soundtrack and movie. Tron: Legacy hit cinemas 17th December.

  1. What is this? Is it supposed to be a song? Why would Daft Punk waste their time on this? I remember when BT went from house sensation to soundtrack scores. Didn’t work out too well.

    • It’s not supposed to be a song, it’s a soundtrack piece meant to accompany visuals.
Some people like to listen to soundtracks on their own, some people don’t, but the context it was written in is to soundtrack a certain part in the movie. And if you watch the trailer the soundtrack works brilliantly with the movie.
      I’m looking forward to both.
I doubt Daft Punk are going to give up the House, they’ve a stadium tour coming next year.
