Com Truise reMixes Foster The People

Foster The People

Foster The People’s last single ‘Helena Beat’ gets a dark futuristic workover in Com Truise latest SynthWave monster.

This new reMix is a growing, atmospheric beast, loaded with Truise’s flawless synth Funk and Sci-Fi soundscapes. Com’s BaldeRunner sound actually works really well with the upbeat Indie-esque vocals, the two styles are quite opposed but seem to give each other room and play off their differences. Having said that, I could listen to Com Truise’s synth sounds all day, whatever they were doing.

A taste of Steve Moore’s new album.

steve moore

SynthWave legend and driving force behind the likes of Zombi & Miracle Steve Moore will be releasing a split album with AE Paterra A.K.A. Majeure (the rest of Zombi) next year titled ‘Brainstorms’.

As a taster, check out ‘Enhanced Humanoid’, a dark, smokey peice of Vangelis-esque future soundtrack. Driven by arpeggios that lend the track and Italo, almost EBM quality and a nervous energy that is enhanced by the beautiful, yet slightly tense, melodies. The whole record will definitely be something to look forward to for gritty Sci-Fi electronics and synthetic atmospheres.

Lazerhawk gets his NES on

lazerhawk

Outrun Electro staple Lazerhawk has dropped a storming mix of one of his favourite NES tunes ‘Underworld (Dungeon)’ from Legend Of Zelda.

Starting off with a nice ChipTune recreation the track some kicks into some menacing digital bass and a sweeping synth rendition of the original arpeggio progression. Lazerhawk’s reMix is a fun, and highly listenable, mash up between an 8-Bit classic and some awesome night drive Electro.
