Here’s the new video by Chillwave supremo Neon Indian. It’s called ‘Heart Attack’ and it features music from his forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2009 acclaimed ‘Psychic Chasms’.
The video, which was shot in Helsinki where much of the new Neon Indian record was recorded, ‘Heat Attack’ is a teaser for the forthcoming full-length album and named after the first of a three part instrumental that will appear on it. the music is sounding pretty rad, nice 80’s grooves and loaded with chilled analog noodling.
Keep your ears to the ground for news.
Neon Indian’s new album is expected sometime late summer 2011.

That isn’t sounding as chill as their older stuff. IMHO, Alan Palomo should focus on more songs with Miami Horror.
Speaking of which, I saw Toro Y Moi live a couple weeks ago, and he had a four piece band jamming, literally jamming, with him. It wasn’t very “chill”, but Chaz is clearly one of the best overall musicians in the game right now.
