London Pop kid Patrick Wolf is back with a new single, ‘Time Of My Life’, in December and it’s a pretty addictive slice of electronic Pop.
The singles reMixes come courtesy of, amongst others, Ceephax and Leo Zero. I think, of the whole package, the Ceephax reMix if my favourite, I dig the burbling Acid bassline, 80’s shimmering synths the old school SynthPop feel the track is given. The shuffling hi-hats are a nice touch too. Leo Zero’s mix is beat heavy, almost tribal, and deep. Stripping the song back to basics and bringing in the big square waves.
