Hotly tipped London ElectroPoppers Years & Years are set to release their new single in a month or so. This one is King, a hazy summery tune.
The clip was directed by Nadia and filmed in LA, It highlights choreography from acclaim music video choreographer Ryan Heffington.
Years & Years’ King is released 1st March.

Robert Francis Müller directs the clip, which stars British actor Ben Whishaw and some disorienting dancing.

The latest release from Kitsuné Music’s low key future-stars Years & Years is out next month. The follow up to their Traps single of late last summer, Real is set to be another critically acclaimed release from this London based three (cut down from five) piece. With a little studio magic from much hyped upcoming producer Lxury, these guys have crafted quite a unique, soulful, House/ElectroPop sound for themselves.
Distinctly British, and utterly compelling, Real is one of those track you just have to listen to a few times. Sitting in that particularly London place where UK House, Garage and R&B meet ElectroPop, Years & Years serve up a platter of warm, bassy synths and shuffling rhythms that coalesce into a backing for frontman Olly Alexander’s heartfelt and distant vocal. Try not clapping along, we dare you.

Traps is the second single from London based ElectroPoppers Years & Years. Following on from their critically acclaimed début, I Wish I Knew, these guys have been snapped up by the almighty Kitsuné Music for the release of this new single, Traps. Their introverted, and slightly quirky, ElectroPop is a perfect fit for Kitsuné’s less dancefloor oriented moments.
Traps is a constantly evolving tune, Layers of buzzing synths gradually building on top of one another through creating a kind of tension within the song that is tempered with Olly Alexander’s gentle vocal style. Traps is solid Indie tinged slice of electronica, the kind of thing you can expect to be hearing carried on the wind across festival fields a lot this summer.
