New York DiscoPop duo French Horn Rebellion really don’t like letting the dust settle on their singles, do they? They’ve been hammering them out in the latter part of this year. It’s like they’ve been saving them up. Personally, we’d have liked them to spread releases out a bit, allow a bit of time for each record to sink in, but as long as the quality keeps up we’re not going to complain that much.

Their latest tune is The Fire, which features Fellow Brooklyn-ite Savoir Adore in a thick and full slice of  ElectroPop euphoria. As with most of FHR’s output, it’s a party tune, all about he good-times (albeit with a slightly deeper sound this time around). The track glides along on top of a bouncy bassline that gives the track it;s funky core. The mixture of male and female vocals, and the waves of lush synths, make the track seem like a rush of emotion. Almost gospel at times.
