Polinksi is Paul Wolinski from 65daysofstatic, and this is the beautiful video for his track ‘Stiches’ featuring Big Black Delta.
The retro future Spectrum/C64 feel work perfectly with the eclectic ElectroPop (although sometimes the graphics are a little too good!).

Fresh from his reMix of M83’s awesome ‘Midnight City’, Jonathan Bates A.K.A. Big Black Delta has just released his first album, ‘BNBDLP1’.
It’s a brooding affair, often with an Industrial or Experimental slant, but manages to retain a solid groove throughout. Sharing a lot in common with peer M83, the record mixes harsh, distorted sounds with sweet melodies and heartfelt, floaty, vocals, Most of the tracks are driven by machine gun drums and heavy synth bass which juxtapose nicely with the more tuneful elements Big Black Delta effortlessly craft, creating something that could get you going in a club just as much as it is a satisfying listening experience. ‘BBDLP1’ is a melting pot if electronic styles, all brewed up into an powerful, dark, ElectroPop epic.

I feel like there’s going to be a flood of reMixes of M83’s awesome ‘Midnight City’, which can only be a good thing as the cream will rise to the top…hopefully.
Here’s one of the first, an official reMix by Big Black Delta. Abrasive and almost Industrial at times, BBD manage to keep some of the catchy elements of the original in the for a unique and raw reMix.
