The Golden Filter’s X-mas tune

New York’s DiscoPop king and queen, The Golden Filter have thrown their X-mas track into the mix. I love it when bands give your presents!

The duo’s contribution to ‘the season’ is a cover of Genesis P.Orridge’s Psychic TV’s eerie winter hymn ‘White Nights’. It sounds kinda’ different with the sleigh-bells and Penelope Trappes’ sweet vocals, but instantly X-massy, even with it’s X-mas nightmare bridge!

Silver Columns’ ‘Brow Beaten’ re-released, with video

Scottish left-field ElectroPoppers Silver Columns have just re-released their single ‘Brow Beaten’ and this time it’s got itself a video.

The clip, directed by Kieran Evans is on long training montage with a twist.

Mr. Fogg’s ‘Answerphone’ video

We missed out on posting this a few days ago, dunno’ why, just one of those things.

Anyway, this is the new, fascinating, video from ElectroPop artist Mr. Fogg. It’s amazingly well co-ordinated and all shot in one take.

Apparently, Mr. Fogg, took the idea to the label and various video producers who all said it would cost a shit-load, so he thought ‘fuck it’ and did it himself on next to no budget (and no camera tricks or cuts!). Seriously, that amount of organizing in Trafalgar Square would have been a nightmare!

The song’s pretty cool too!
