Bright Light Bright Light’s long (really, quite long) awaited new single ‘Disco Moment’ looks like it’s finally here with the premiere of the video.
It’s a really good choice for a single, upbeat ElectroPop with a hint of melancholy and the Jody Wilson directed video serves as a really good introduction to Rod Thomas for the masses who missed out on ‘Love Part II’.
‘Disco Moment’ is released 19th September.

Yellow Magic Orchestra have been making boundary pushing electronic music and ElectroPop since before you know what a synthesizer was. Show some respect! ‘Rydeen’ is from 1980, by which time they were already comfortable making big Electro jams while much of the rest of the world was on Tomorrow’s World complaining that synthesizer music wasn’t somehow real.

Portland ElectroPop duo Van Go Lion have only gone and done a cover of 80’s smooth Pop boy’s Johnny Hates Jazz’s smash hit ‘Shattered Dreams’ ain’t they!
It’s actually really weird to hear a song you know inside out sung by someone else, but Van Go Lion tune in a brilliant updating of the tune. It seems the Jazzers (or the Johnnies?) themselves like the track too, making this statement “25 years since Shattered Dreams was originally a worldwide hit, and after nearly three and a half million airplays in the US alone, its great that the song is reaching a new generation of music fans. We celebrate Van Go Lion’s innovative new recording, and have no doubt that it will add to this continuing success.”. Good job!

London’s SynthPop bright hopes Echoes , today, treat us all to a brand new track.
‘Thousand Suns’ is a beautiful ballad that is compelling and enveloping. Awash with Echoes, now trademark, mixture of melancholy and hope the epic seven minutes is an emotional journey of longing with a suitably uplifting conclusion as the beat kicks in. Narrative music, you gotta’ love it!
Echoes have also recently wrapped up reMixing Matt & Kim’s new single ‘Block After Block’ giving the track a bit of a Balearic feel, perfect for sunrise moments. Artists who can convey emotion musically as well as Echoes are all to rare, we can’t wait for their first proper release.

Liquid summer gold drips from the speakers when you put on 33hz new single ‘Under The Sun’.
The New York Disco duo are releasing a new album in the Autumn and coming in just before that is this single. A smooth, soulful ,beach jam with an early 90’s electronic R&B flavour. Prins Thomas is on the mix with fun, cosmic, Balearic groove in one of his classic Diskomikses. Both sides of the record are pure crusin’ music. Enjoy.

Follow @electronicrumorGoin’ Old School: Man Parrish – Hip Hop Bebop (Don’t Stop)
Man Parrish is an absolute electronic music legend, helping to shape Hip Hop, ElectroPop and Italo throughout the years. ‘Hip Hop Bebop (Don’t Stop)’ was 1982. 1982! insane.

In advance of their first EP release for ‘the ever-awesome Holographic People’, The awesome Cavaliers Of Fun has dropped this ElectroPoptastic reMix of Britney Spears’ ‘Til The World Ends’.
Bringing it down to the bassline and retro synth work, Mr. Ricco Vitali’s tune slides onto the dancefloor and is so slick that when the electric piano kick in it’s got the groove locked down so tight. Let the synthesizers carry you ‘til the world ends.
