Rockets In A Coma
Rockets In A Coma hail from Greece and are made up of Elektra & Java Kid. They make some of the catchiest, Indie tinged, ElectroPop you’ll have heard in a while.
They are currently gearing up for the release of their début album ‘Square Strawberries’ and here we have a couple of track for you to get a feel for what to expect. ‘Physcholover’ is some straight up modern ElectroPop with added sass, bringing an attitude to the synth sound. ‘Be Loaded And Dance’ is pure party track, a Hip Hop influenced chant-a-long, Elektra’s pseudo-rapping working perfectly with the rockin’ old-school Electro beats.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if we heard a lot more from Rockets In a Coma, they are poppy and fun yet keep it on the dancefloor.
I bet they are the shit live too, hopefully I’ll find out soon!
‘Square Strawberries’ is out in the last week of May on UNDO Records
Røyksopp & Robyn’s Robot Released
I had absolutely no doubt that Røyksopp and Robyn’s ‘The girl And The Robot’ would be the next single off their fantastic album ‘Junior’.
It’s easily one of my favourite tracks of this year so far, everything an ElectroPop track should be. ‘Cos it’s so good we have a treat for you here in the shape of four of the reMixes from the forthcoming single. Kris Menace, Joakim, Château Marmont & Ocelot all bring various strains of Nu-Disco and Electro to their versions, each one a gem in it’s own right.

Damn Arms get the SexWax treatment
Ozzie reMix factory DJ SexWax has done it again with this reMix of Damn Arms’ hit ‘Destination’.
Much like his previous, this reMix is a top notch job. What we have here is a monster Disco stormer full of vocoders and screaming synth solos. The beat is infectious like swine flu!

The Late Greats spacey reMix
Eastbourne based Indie outfit The Late Greats have dropped this space electro reMix of their track ‘Destroy My Brain’ by Ingo Star Cruiser
Not much is known here about either the band or the reMixer but I get a real ‘more-aggressive-The-Postal-Service’ vibe from the track so it had to be posted.

It’s a really nice track actually.
‘Destroy My Brain’ is taken from The Late Greats new EP out May 18th.
Lily Allen; ‘Not Fair’ reMix
Here’s another track that landed in the electronic rumors Inbox during our week off.
New Zealand producer Justin Sane and his production partner Kyle Bourke have knocked out this reMix of Lily Allen’s latest single ‘Not Fair’ and it sends the track straight to the dancefloor whilst keeping the song’s pop sensibilities.
Apparently, this is tearing up the floors down NZ way!
Enjoy:

Passion Pit reMix Dan Black
Still trying to get through the electronic rumors Inbox backlog! This is one I have to share with you though.
London live ElectroPop scenester Dan Black has manages to score a reMix from current Passion Pit, who must be busy right now promoting their new album ‘Manners’!
The song, ‘Symphonies’, is Dan’s own reworking of his track ‘Hypnotize’ (Dan’s take on the Notorious B.I.G. tune) which is taken in the realms of American Indie-electro by PP, the result being a clash of UK Pop and US Hipster!
